Red Bulletin

Photographer: Jim Krantz

When Photographer Jim Krantz reaches out… the answer is always: yes!

The assignment for RED BULL was big — and Jimmy had already dreamed a vision so bold the chips simply had to line up.  Big permitting requirements, stunt coordinators, epic locations… so off we went. Challenge accepted. (Fitting, really, since that’s the name of our daredevil’s YouTube show — meant to be, no doubt.)

We were completing permits up until just two days before the shoot — a proper nail-biter — and then came a very early call time with impossibly tight logistics.  And yet, there we landed… on hallowed ground beneath the Hollywood sign, early morning fog curling around us like a blessing.

Our tight-knit crew moved as one, quietly and efficiently, capturing incredible frames that felt both cinematic and timeless. By midday we transitioned to the Goldwyn Mansion for an underwater escape scene — and as the final frames were locked, it struck all of us…this one was special. Everyone felt it — that electric current when every person knows exactly how rare and remarkable it is to be creating something like this together.

Michelle surprised the crew with freshly baked cookies and handwritten thank-you cards (I mean… who does that anymore?!), sealing an already magical day with sweetness and gratitude.

Thanks to every single soul who poured themselves into this, we created something truly beautiful for The Red Bulletin.
